Topic Sentence: Computers can 't compare to human brains

Computers cannot be compared to human brains. Although computer has made a lot of progress in the technology world these days such as: making communication across long distance easier, giving information and transferring data at high speed, and many other benefits, computer also has a limit. The human brain is more powerful than any computer. The human brain has no limit. According to Steven Pinker in the news magazine U.S. News & World Report on August 18, 1997, article titled “Can a Computer Be Conscious?” it has been estimated that the information-processing capacity of even the most powerful supercomputer is equal to the nervous system of a snail – a tiny fraction of the power available to the supercomputer inside the human skull (64). The kinds of processing in a human brain and a computer are different too. The speed to read and to understand the data of a computer depends on the processor level while human brain depends on the ability of the person’s brain which is different from one to another. As Pinker stated “Computers find it easy to remember a 25-digit number but find it hard to summarize the gist of [children’s story] ‘Little Red Riding Hood,’ and humans find it hard to remember the number but easy to summarize story” (64). To conclude, scientific research and experiments have certainly made our life easier, especially computer to access information worldwide and safe our data. However, we cannot always depend on computer anytime because it has limit while we have our brain which has no limit. We should use our brain and computer in properly and of course in balance.
